Edward is survived by his four children, Monica Velasquez and husband, Eugene, Edward Alderete Jr., David Daniel, his princess, Grace Hope; and his wife of 18 years, Jeannette. Edward is also survived by his mom, Barbara Romero; his dad, David Alderete and wife, Mary; his sister, Michelle Molina and her family; his brothers, Joseph Alderete and his children, Mario Alderete and his family; two God-daughters, Estella Alderete and Elaina Rodriquez his little sunshine; many loving and supportive aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Edward will be remembered for his wonderful culinary talents and his love of music. Edward proudly served his country in the Army Reserves for six years. He also dedicated many years of his life to ministry through Victory Outreach. Edward's smile and love of his rottweilers will be missed. Play those congas in heaven. A viewing will be held Wednesday morning after 10:00 a.m. at Victory Outreach Church. 933 Sunset SW, with a Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Dan Sanchez, of Partners for Jesus Ministry and Pastor Danny Sanchez, Victory Outreach Church, will officiate the service.
