| Biography: I'm Cynthia Lucero Thompson. I live in Torrance, California, about 20 miles south of Los Angeles. I live with my two children, Lisa and Robert. I got involved in genealogy about two years ago out of a challenge by my 83 year old uncle to find out something about our ancestors. So far I have found a couple thousand ancestors and found my connection to Santiago Gurule and Elena Gallegos in the process. My line to Santiago and Elena is through my father's side of the family, and I am the first person in 11 generations of this line to be born outside of Albuquerque, NM (I was born in Los Angeles, CA).
